They don't have to be in chronological order — the AI will reorder them. Pick photos with variety: different settings, lighting, expressions, or moments. Avoid 8 near-identical shots. Think of them as chapters of a story, not duplicates of the same moment.

Turn Photos Into Videos With Google Flow
Turn static photos into connected cinematic videos with Google Flow using AI storyboards, realistic motion and camera movement.
AI tools you’ll use.
Step-by-step guide.
Access Google Flow at flow.google.com. You will need a Google account. Upload all 8 photos into the session before entering any prompt.
Copy the prompt from the top of this page and paste it exactly as written. Do not modify the requirements section — those constraints (preserve identity, no exaggeration, 9:16 format) are what make the output look professional.
The AI will return a scene-by-scene plan — not a video. Read through it. Check the order makes emotional sense. Approve scenes, or ask it to adjust specific camera movements or durations before you generate. This is your creative control point.
Once you are happy with the storyboard, tell the AI to proceed. It will generate the animation prompts scene by scene, and you can use those to render the final video clips in Flow.
Export your clips and bring them into CapCut (or any editor). Add subtitles, music, captions, and your hook text. Do not add text overlays during the Google Flow stage — always add text in post-production for full control over placement and timing.
The prompts that built it.
You are an expert storyboard artist and AI video director. I will upload 8 real photographs that I want to animate into a short vertical reel of approximately 16 seconds. Your task is NOT to generate the final animation prompts immediately. Instead: 1. Analyse all uploaded images. 2. Arrange them in the most engaging storytelling order. 3. Create a storyboard showing: • Scene number • Which uploaded image is used • Suggested duration (1–3 seconds) • Camera movement (slow zoom in, zo …
